Bitcoin May Hit $1 Million Faster Than Expected, Says CZ
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao recently spoke at Bitcoin Asia 2026 in Hong Kong about his expectations for Bitcoin's future. He believes that despite reaching $1 million faster than initially predicted, practical adoption is lagging behind.
Zhao thinks this will change within the next 25 years, with large-scale payments and inclusion in retirement pension reserves driving growth. He also sees Bitcoin eventually surpassing gold in importance, given its current market cap gap of about ten times.
The Binance founder highlighted tokenized assets as a key driver for both Bitcoin's adoption and the overall industry's growth. He argues that these assets lower barriers to entry, allowing buyers to access previously inaccessible markets and gain exposure to Bitcoin. This benefits not only tokenized stocks but also traditional markets and Bitcoin itself.
