Bitcoin May Not Hit New All-Time High Before June 2027, Analyst Warns

Crypto analyst Sherlock has sparked debate among Bitcoin enthusiasts by suggesting that a new all-time high (ATH) may not be seen before June 2027. According to his assessment, based on historical price cycles, it's possible that Bitcoin won't surpass its peak reached on October 6, 2025, for at least another year.

Sherlock noted that in the past, after temporary corrections, the previous ATH level has been regained within a maximum of 238 days. However, he also pointed out that there have been instances where this timeframe was exceeded, taking much longer to recover, up to 622 days in one case.

The analyst emphasized that historical data shows Bitcoin's fastest return to its previous peak after exceeding the 238-day mark took 622 days, which suggests the current cycle may be different. He calculated the earliest date for a recapture of the previous peak as June 20, 2027, considering past long-term bear markets.

Sherlock also highlighted that only in 2011, 2013, 2017, and 2021 have peaks remained unbroken for such a long period. He noted that these periods were subsequently recorded as major cyclical peaks for Bitcoin.
