Bitcoin Miner Signal Flashes Buy Ahead of Critical Week
A closely watched Bitcoin indicator has flashed a buy signal, potentially setting up a significant price move for BTC. According to 10X Research, this is the tenth time the miner signal has appeared, with an impressive 80% historical success rate.
Of the previous ten signals, eight occurrences produced positive returns, with the median return following these signals reaching 58.6%. If history repeats itself, a similar average performance could send BTC price climbing around 40% from current levels.
Bitcoin has already shown signs of recovery in recent days, trading above $78,000 and gaining approximately 2% over the past 24 hours. However, the miner indicator is not foolproof, as two previous signals were followed by declines of approximately 24% and 40%.
The latest buy signal comes during a critical week for the crypto market, with investors closely monitoring the U.S. Senate's expected action on the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve's upcoming interest rate decision. Higher interest rates typically create headwinds for risk assets by tightening financial conditions, putting Bitcoin's bullish miner signal to the test.
