Bitcoin Miner Signal Sparks 40% Rally Hopes
Analysts at 10X Research have identified a bullish signal in the Bitcoin miner data that historically leads to significant gains. The firm tracked ten past instances of this signal and found an impressive 80% positive hit rate for Bitcoin, with eight signals producing gains and two leading to losses.
The median return across these ten signals was a substantial 58.6%, while average gains landed near 41%. If history repeats itself, this could indicate a sizable move for Bitcoin in the near term, potentially reaching a similar margin as previous instances.
However, it's essential to note that past results do not guarantee future performance, and caution remains reasonable. Two prior signals led to downside moves of 24% and 40% for Bitcoin, respectively.
The current price action in Bitcoin has already started to recover this month, with the coin pushing past $78,000 as of this writing. The recent upward move aligns with the miner signal and adds weight to bullish views.
