Bitcoin Momentum Falters at Crucial Resistance Zone
Bitcoin has staged a sharp recovery from its $60K demand zone and reclaimed the $72K-$74K area, pushing it toward the crucial $80K resistance zone. However, momentum is beginning to show signs of exhaustion in this region.
The daily chart shows a significant structural improvement, with BTC breaking above a descending trendline and the $67K resistance zone. The price has also surpassed the 100-day (~$66K) and 200-day (~$70K) moving averages, which are starting to flatten or turn higher.
This suggests that the broader structure has shifted from consolidation toward a more constructive trend. If Bitcoin can reclaim the $80K area decisively, it could strengthen the bullish structure and open the door for further gains toward the next major resistance around $95K.
However, momentum is currently the main near-term concern. The daily RSI has surged into the overbought region, indicating that BTC may need to consolidate or retrace before attempting another sustained leg higher.
