Bitcoin Nears $65K as Institutional Demand Boosts Crypto Markets
Crypto markets showed signs of improving momentum on August 6 as Bitcoin (BTC) neared $65,000 and Ethereum (ETH) climbed above $1,900. Strong demand from institutional investors and continued ETF inflows contributed to the gains.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their third consecutive day of positive inflows, while Ethereum ETFs attracted fresh capital, with the strongest daily inflows in nearly two weeks. This steady demand helped support ETH despite uncertainty in the wider crypto market.
The easing of geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran also improved investor confidence across financial markets, increasing demand for risk assets like cryptocurrencies. However, uncertainty around the CLARITY Act remains an important risk for the market, limiting broader market momentum.
