Bitcoin Nears Inflection Point as Dollar Falters
Lyn Alden, an industry expert and macro strategist, believes that Bitcoin (BTC) is nearing an inflection point against gold. According to her, the BTC-to-gold ratio is 'somewhat bottoming' after gold outperformed Bitcoin over the past two years.
Alden expects gold's 2024-2025 advance to be a 'generational' run, driven by central-bank demand, geopolitical uncertainty, and monetary expansion. In contrast, Bitcoin faced a different setup as capital that previously treated it as the market's 'fastest horse' rotated toward artificial intelligence stocks and treasury companies.
Alden sees Bitcoin gradually evolving toward gold's role as a monetary asset while remaining smaller and more volatile. Despite recent underperformance, she remains bullish on Bitcoin over a two-to-three-year horizon.
