Bitcoin Options Signal Cautious Outlook Amid 26% Rebound
Bitcoin's recent 26% rebound from its mid-August low has investors cautiously optimistic about the cryptocurrency's next move. However, data from the Bitcoin options market suggests a different story.
A report by Glassnode highlights that the middle 70% of implied price outcomes for the September 25 options expiry spans roughly $69,000 to $89,700. This indicates that traders are pricing in continued volatility and not a one-way move sharply higher.
The data suggests investors expect a broader trading range rather than an immediate breakout. Glassnode also identifies the $81,000, $86,000 range as a major resistance area for Bitcoin, citing several market factors converging within this zone.
