Bitcoin Outlook Darkens as US Inflation Crushes Fed Rate Cut Hopes
The outlook for Bitcoin has darkened due to recent US inflation data, which has reduced expectations for near-term easing by the Federal Reserve.
According to CoinShares, crypto investment flows have turned negative as investors reassess their expectations for easier monetary policy.
The firm noted that digital asset investment products recorded $243 million in weekly outflows, reversing about $1.3 billion of inflows from the previous week.
Bond buybacks are struggling to bring down long-term yields, adding pressure to risk-sensitive assets such as Bitcoin, which traded around $77,000 to $78,000 after failing to hold above $80,000.
