Bitcoin Perpetual Futures Traders Lean Slightly Long on Binance, OKX, Bybit
Data from three major cryptocurrency futures exchanges by open interest shows a slight bullish tilt in Bitcoin perpetual futures positioning over the past 24 hours. The aggregate long/short ratio across Binance, OKX, and Bybit stands at 50.17% long versus 49.83% short.
This suggests that more traders are positioned for an upside in the market. Binance reported 50.6% long positions against 49.4% short, while OKX showed a nearly balanced split at 50.21% long and 49.79% short. Bybit displayed the most pronounced bullish sentiment at 51.5% long versus 48.5% short.
The current data points to cautious optimism among derivatives traders, though the margins are slim. Such near-balanced readings often signal indecision or a market awaiting a stronger directional catalyst.
