Bitcoin Plummets Below $80,000 Amid US Inflation Fears
Bitcoin's price has fallen below $80,000, influenced by upcoming US inflation data and growing expectations of a Fed interest rate hike. Markets are now focused on the release of the Producer Price Index (PPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) data in the US.
According to QCP Capital, one of the leading cryptocurrency market analysis companies, the $80,000 to $82,000 range is a critical resistance zone for BTC. If Bitcoin fails to break through this zone, selling pressure may intensify.
LMAX Group Market Strategist Joel Kruger noted that Treasury bond yields have risen and oil prices have increased following recent tensions between the US and Iran, but cryptocurrencies have absorbed these negative effects without significant technical damage.
