Bitcoin Plummets to 10-Day Low Amid US-Iran Conflict
Bitcoin's recent surge has been met with a correction, and it has dropped to its lowest point in ten days. The cryptocurrency's price fell below $76,500 after being rejected at $79,000 on several occasions.
The main reason behind this correction is the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran, which led to new violent strikes against each other.
Bitcoin had broken out of its previous range and surged by over $16,000 in mid-August. It even reached a price of over $81,000 on several occasions last week before the bears stepped up and halted the move.
The bulls intervened again on Tuesday, pushing the cryptocurrency to $79,000 once more, but another leg down followed that drove BTC to its current price of under $77,000.
