Bitcoin Predicted to Hit $400K by 2030: Coinbase CEO Armstrong

Bitcoin's price could see significant growth over the next three years, according to Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. Speaking with CNBC, Armstrong stated that he believes $400,000 is a 'reasonable target' for Bitcoin by 2030.

This estimate would require Bitcoin's value to rise more than fivefold in approximately three and a half years, from around $77,000 currently.

Armstrong tied this forecast partly to the cryptocurrency's four-year market cycle, noting that the current decline has lasted about as long as previous down periods. He believes that the bottom is in for Bitcoin in this cycle, and the next one or two years could be favorable for the asset.
