Bitcoin Predicted to Hit $90K in October Following Green September

Market analyst Erik Crown believes Bitcoin could hit $90,000 by October if September ends on a positive note. This prediction is based on historical data showing that when September closes green, Bitcoin has historically averaged about 6.5% gains up to the quad witching date.

Crown pointed out that any time Bitcoin traded more than 50% below its previous high, the median return one year later was 116%, rising to 337% at the two-year mark with a 96% win rate. He also flagged a simple but compelling statistic: Bitcoin's price has historically been followed by significant gains.

Crown laid out his roadmap based on historical September and Q4 data going back to CME futures listing in 2018. According to this data, if Bitcoin reaches $83,222 after the quad witching date, it would be a weekly higher high, making a return to a downtrend highly unlikely.

Crown is cautious about altcoins, stating that almost every altcoin eventually goes to zero after its first cycle. He noted that only a few specific sectors like AI agents and memecoins produced real returns in prior cycles.
