Bitcoin Price Action Faces Crucial Test as ChatGPT and Grok Clash
Bitcoin's price action is facing a key test this month as two prominent models, ChatGPT and Grok, have differing predictions for where it could finish September. According to recent data, Bitcoin trades around $79,000 today after climbing from $63,531 on August 11 to a September 3 high of $82,283.
ChatGPT gave a single target of $86,000, which would mean an 8.9% gain from $79,000, while Grok was more cautious, giving a range of $76,000 to $81,000. The $82,000 area is a crucial level for both forecasts, and breaking above it could put ChatGPT's $86,000 target in play.
Both models highlighted the importance of ETF flows in their predictions, with ChatGPT becoming more bullish if Bitcoin can break and hold above $84,000 to $85,000 while strong inflows continue. However, Grok remains more cautious, requiring multi-day inflows of at least $300 million before turning more bullish.
With about three weeks left in September and roughly $1 billion in negative ETF flows for the year, Bitcoin's price action will be closely watched to see which model has it right. A break above $85,000 could give ChatGPT's $80,000 to $90,000 range more support, while a drop below $75,000 could strengthen the bearish case.
