Bitcoin Price Bet Set for August 9, 2026 at 2pm EDT
Rights holders on KalshiEX LLC can bet on the price of Bitcoin (BTC) at a specific date and time. On August 9, 2026, at 2pm EDT, the price will determine whether or not the contract resolves in favor of the buyer or seller. The price used to determine this market is based on CF Benchmarks' corresponding Real Time Index (RTI). The final value will be the average of sixty collected RTI prices.
There are no restrictions on trading, but persons employed by certain agencies or those holding material non-public information on Bitcoin are not permitted to trade. Event contracts are offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC through either KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX, LLC, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC.
Trading hours are 24/7 except for Thursday from 3am-5am ET. The contract resolves usually within an hour of event resolution.
