Bitcoin Price Could Soar to $250K-$840K as Adoption Rises
Research firm River projects that Bitcoin's price could surge to between $250,000 and $840,000 in three to five years. This prediction is based on the assumption that 20% to 40% of global investment portfolios allocate 2% to 4% of their assets to Bitcoin. Currently, only about 4% of the global population owns Bitcoin, and institutional allocations remain very low.
The firm believes that as adoption rises, potentially adding $1.3 trillion to $5.3 trillion in new capital, demand could sharply increase its price due to Bitcoin's fixed supply. Adoption is already growing, with more financial advisers holding Bitcoin, but allocations remain small, suggesting significant room for growth ahead.
