Bitcoin Price Dips Below $77K as Market Sentiment and Investor Confidence Wane
Bitcoin's price fell below $77,000 on Sunday, trading at around $76,725. This decline of 0.80% comes as higher bond yields and expectations that interest rates will stay elevated make dollar-denominated assets more attractive.
The market sentiment index briefly climbed above 89 out of 100, entering what Darkfost calls 'extreme greed' territory. However, this reading has since cooled from its peak, even as Bitcoin tries to hold its current price level.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $462.7 million in net outflows during the Sep. 8-11 trading week. This represents a significant decline in investor confidence in these funds.
