Bitcoin Price Faces Crucial Test Above $82,000
The Bitcoin price has recovered towards $80,000 after two daily declines, but it needs to break above recent highs for another rally to strengthen.
A sustained close above $82,100 could confirm a fresh advance, while a brief spike above $80,000 would offer less convincing evidence.
Bitfinex analysts expect trading inside the existing range until a break occurs and identify $77,100 as the level below which their medium-term uptrend would be invalidated.
Standard Chartered's Geoff Kendrick retains his $100,000 end-2026 forecast but suggests there is now an upside risk to this target, potentially carrying Bitcoin towards its previous record near $126,000.
