Bitcoin Price Faces Key Decision Zone as 'Staircase Up' Structure Forms
Bitcoin's price action is being closely watched as it approaches a key decision zone near $65,400 in liquidity. According to chart analyst Kaz (@XBTkaz), the cryptocurrency has formed a 'staircase up' structure, where price climbs steadily rather than accelerating through resistance.
This type of controlled rise can leave the market exposed to a faster move in the opposite direction once buyers lose momentum, potentially leading to a decline. However, before that happens, Kaz identifies approximately $65,400 as an important upside level that remains unswept, which Bitcoin may first trade into or slightly above.
On the downside, a broad reaction zone between roughly $62,800 and $63,300 is highlighted as a potential area for buyers to re-enter if BTC reverses from the highs. The chart also marks a deeper structural low near $62,223, which provides a clearer invalidation reference for the broader recovery from recent lows.
In related news, Bitcoin is trading in an increasingly tight weekly range near its 200-week moving average while remaining below a major resistance cluster around $68,400-$69,350. Daan Crypto Trades argues that this compression could eventually produce a much larger weekly move, with a break above $70,000 needed to strengthen the bullish case.
