Bitcoin Price Forecast: October 5th Bottom Predicted
Mark Yusko, Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Creek Capital Management, shared his thoughts on Bitcoin's (BTC) recent price movements. He believes that the market has entered an 'overbought' zone and is not yet out of a bear market.
As a result, Yusko predicts that Bitcoin could reach its bottom around October 5th, with prices potentially falling to $58,000 in the short term. However, he also estimates that BTC's value could eventually be around $105,000, based on indicators such as Metcalfe's Law.
In related news, Yusko revealed that he had sold about 90% of his Solana (SOL) position after achieving a 1,000 times return on his early investments. This development comes as the cryptocurrency market continues to experience volatility, with Bitcoin's price fluctuating above and below $80,000 in recent weeks.
Yusko emphasized that investors should be cautious when allocating assets to cryptocurrencies, recommending that general investors limit their Bitcoin holdings to between 5% and 10% of their portfolios. His comments serve as a reminder of the importance of risk management in navigating the cryptocurrency market.
