Bitcoin Price Holds at $65,478 as Bulls Target $66,000
Bitcoin's price continued to trade above $65,000, maintaining its strong short-term momentum. The cryptocurrency held steady at around $65,478 after touching an intraday high of $65,511 and a low of $65,454.
The price action showed that buyers still had control of the market, with sellers unable to push the price much lower despite trying to slow down the rally near the top. The short-term uptrend remained alive as Bitcoin stayed above the middle Bollinger Band, while the upper band moved higher after the recent breakout.
The 20-period moving average also moved higher, adding support to the current trend. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stood close to 64, slightly below the overbought zone, indicating healthy buying momentum without extreme pressure.
Immediate technical resistance for Bitcoin sits between $65,550 and $65,600, with a strong breakout above this hurdle potentially boosting buying confidence and pushing the asset toward $65,800 and the psychological $66,000 target.
