Bitcoin Price Holds Firm at $64K Amid Mining Profitability Woes
The price of Bitcoin has held steady near $64,745 as some mining rigs experience daily losses. According to WuBlockchain Data Center, 22.7% of tracked mining machines reported negative net returns on August 6.
This comes as the broader market faces pressure from a decline in mining profitability. However, analyst Ali Martinez notes that several monthly indicators now resemble conditions seen around previous major market bottoms.
The combination of technical signals, including the TD Sequential, 50-month SMA, and CMO, could indicate a macro bottom is forming. Ali expects possible consolidation between $60,000 and $67,000 before a clearer directional move.
