Bitcoin Price Holds Steady Above $67K Amid Loss Spike

The Bitcoin (BTC) price has seen significant losses in recent days, with realized losses surging to approximately $2.3 billion over a seven-day period.

This level of loss is comparable to what was seen during the June 2022 Luna and UST crash, but unlike then, it's occurring at a much higher price point, around $67,000.

The Bitcoin Net Realized Profit/Loss seven-day moving average has dropped to -$1.99 billion, with some recovery to roughly -$1.73 billion in the following days.

Historically, a sustained return above zero has marked transitions back to profit-dominant market phases.

The current sell-off is being attributed to the flushing out of late-cycle buyers and leveraged positions rather than a repeat of 2022's collapse.
