Bitcoin Price Locked in $80K Battle Amid Spot ETF Frenzy
Bitcoin's price is locked in a fierce battle to reach $80,000 as spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen net inflows for the third consecutive week. The total entry last week reached $986.9 million.
BlackRock's IBIT fund led the pack with an entry of $691.5 million, making it the top contributor to the ETFs' growth.
In a surprising turn of events, altcoin perpetual futures saw open positions surpassing Bitcoin for the first time since December 2024.
However, this trend has raised concerns about a potential large-scale liquidation risk due to the rapid increase in leverage usage among altcoins.
