Bitcoin Price May Surpass $126K as Spot ETF Inflows Recover
Standard Chartered's Geoff Kendrick is revisiting his $100K Bitcoin year-end call after observing a recovery in spot Bitcoin ETF inflows. Speaking on Friday, he noted that the recent rally has been driven by short liquidations and increasing investment flows.
Kendrick believes that low open interest could be a catalyst for further price growth as more investors return to the market. He stated, 'For the first time this year there is now a risk my end year forecast (of USD100k) is too low.'
The global head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered pointed out that Bitcoin prices may move towards their all-time high of $126,000 before the end of the year. This projection comes as spot Bitcoin ETF inflows begin to recover, potentially accelerating after October 6.
