Bitcoin Price Revisits Breakout Zone After Failed Surge
Bitcoin's price surge above $82,000 was short-lived as stronger-than-expected US employment data weighed on risk assets and Treasury yields rose.
The cryptocurrency briefly touched an intraday peak of $82,281 before falling to around $79,224, a 2.1% decline for the session.
Analysts note that Bitcoin remains close to its previous resistance zone of $78,800-$79,300 and holding above this area could preserve the breakout structure.
