Bitcoin Price Sensitive to Demand, Not Fundamentals: Swan Bitcoin CEO

Cory Klippsten, CEO of Swan Bitcoin, has weighed in on the debate over Bitcoin's valuation. He argues that Bitcoin is more sensitive to demand than gold.

Klippsten notes that both Bitcoin and gold resist traditional valuation methods. Unlike conventional assets, such as companies or real estate, their value cannot be determined by clear benchmarks like future cash flows or rental income.

BTC's price is heavily dependent on how much wealth investors choose to store in it. Klippsten points out that gold prices are largely shaped by the amount of wealth people want to hold in the metal, and Bitcoin exhibits this trait to an even greater degree.
