Bitcoin's price has fallen by about 1.8% in the past 24 hours, settling at around $63,950 after another attempt to hold above $65,000 failed.

The cryptocurrency briefly touched $65,300 but then slid back toward its immediate support zone, with most of the decline happening during a sharp move from above $64,700.

Despite some net inflows into US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, totaling approximately $853.5 million over five consecutive sessions from August 3 through August 7, the price has not been able to clear the resistance area around $65,000.
