Bitcoin Price Slumps Below $65,000 Amid Macro Concerns
Bitcoin's price has retreated below $65,000 for the second consecutive day after a sustained uptrend this month.
Rising oil prices have weighed in on investor sentiment, with Brent crude crossing $100 per barrel and potentially signaling higher inflation and elevated interest rates from the FED.
The two-year US government bond yield has pushed to a 16-month high, retesting levels last seen in February 2025, which could signal a strong flight to safety and more downside for Bitcoin.
However, institutional flows remain positive, with institutions buying over 10,000 BTC over the last seven days, potentially limiting the downside if these flows continue.
