Bitcoin Price Stagnant at $64,500 as Implied Volatility Hits 36% Low
Bitcoin's price has been hovering around $64,509.85, experiencing a slight gain of 0.8% over the past 24 hours and 1.3% on the week.
The asset's market capitalization is at $1.33 trillion, with its second-largest counterpart carrying $233 billion.
However, despite its relatively stable price, Bitcoin has been experiencing a significant decline from its all-time high of $126,198.07 in October 2025, resulting in a 48.9% drop to its current value.
The token's year-to-date performance is down 26%, and it traded around $50,500 higher than today's level just one year ago.
Other major cryptocurrencies such as Ether and have not performed well either, with prices dropping by 1.54% and 0.95%, respectively.
