Bitcoin Price Surge Brings Saylor Back in Profit
Bitcoin's price surge has brought relief to Michael Saylor, an outspoken advocate for the cryptocurrency. After months of losses totaling billions of dollars on his Bitcoin holdings, Saylor's company is now back in profit due to the recent market rally.
Saylor's aggressive strategy of buying up large amounts of BTC even during periods of volatility paid off when Bitcoin broke through $79,000, reclaiming its multi-month high. According to data from Kalshi, his company's 840,447 BTC treasury portfolio is now worth approximately $65.24 billion at the current price.
This recovery marks a significant gain for Saylor's strategy, with his portfolio reflecting a profit of around $1.63 billion. Although he has yet to recover all his losses, which still sit at around $103.58 million, this development is seen as a positive turn in the market.
