The recent Bitcoin (BTC) price surge has been attributed to several factors, including renewed spot ETF buying, macro conditions, Washington developments, and large short liquidations.
According to market coverage, the break above $70,000 pulled in short covering and momentum activity, with about $517 million of spot Bitcoin ETF inflows on August 19 and approximately $606 million on August 20.
