Bitcoin Price Surge Hinges on ETF Inflows

The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has surged by 24% in just one month, largely driven by $6.8 billion flowing into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs over six consecutive weeks.

This influx of institutional money has kept the mechanical bid for spot BTC strong, as authorized participants deliver actual Bitcoin to BlackRock's custody desk to create new ETF units.

However, this streak was broken in today's session, with the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) down 4.21% and off 5.24% over the past week, even as the one-month print remains positive at 20.29%.

The one-year read is less encouraging, with BTC down 32.4% against its September 12, 2025 print of $115,381.08.
