Bitcoin Price Surges 22%, Targets $80,000 Liquidity Range
Bitcoin's price surged by over 22% since Monday, reaching a local high of $79,500 on Friday. The cryptocurrency market added more than $450 billion to its total value as of August 21. This sudden increase in demand has turned positive for Bitcoin in both spot and perpetual futures markets for the first time since it reached its all-time high on October 6, 2025.
Data from CryptoQuant shows that Bitcoin's UTXO Realized Price Distribution (URPD) indicates that the flagship coin has broken above a major resistance level around $75,733. As a result, Bitcoin is now targeting a liquidity range of between $83,307 and $84,569, where approximately 1 million coins previously changed hands.
With Bitcoin's price currently trading at $76,662, it could climb another 8.67% to 10.31% before experiencing its next major sell pressure if the spot and futures demand continues to rise in the near future.
