Bitcoin's price has surged by 4.57% in the past 24 hours to reach $72,500, according to recent market data.
The increase is attributed to strong spot ETF inflows and increasing open interest, with Lookonchain reporting significant one-day and seven-day net inflows of $472 million and $797 million respectively.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded a net inflow of $517.19 million on August 19, with cumulative net inflows reaching $52.79 billion, according to SoSoValue data.
The chart shows a notable breakout from the recent trading range, with Bitcoin moving above the $67,333 resistance and currently trading above the 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day EMAs.
