Bitcoin Price Takes Hit as Macro Pressures Mount Amid Clarity Act Optimism

Bitcoin's price has taken a hit in recent hours, dipping by 0.6% to $64,148.47. However, experts claim this is not a sign of a bearish cycle but rather a 'healthy repricing of risk' driven by macroeconomic pressures.

Simon-Peter Massabni, head of business development at XS.com, believes that institutional participation has reached unprecedented levels and the market is bolstered by inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs and major industry collaborations on network security.

The Deribit BTC options market shows a significant focus on $70,000 and $72,000 calls, totaling nearly $5 billion in open interest. Analysts attribute much of this demand to optimism surrounding the Clarity Act.
