Bitcoin Price Target of $1M by 2030 Called 'Mathematically Impossible' by 10x Research
The prediction of Bitcoin reaching $1 million by 2030 is deemed mathematically impossible by 10x Research. According to their analysis, reaching this threshold would require a 16x multiplier and a market capitalization of $20 trillion dollars.
Markus Thielen, the founder and head of research at 10x Research, explains that the obstacle lies in the financial system's physical inability to inject the necessary net capital. He points out that the global money supply and liquidity pools are not deep enough to absorb such a jump in valuation.
The study relies on several major numerical indicators demonstrating the theoretical impossibility of such a trajectory: an observed initial price of $63,006 per unit, a required multiplier coefficient of nearly 16x compared to the current price, and a target market capitalization of $20 trillion dollars.
