Bitcoin Price Target Set at $400,000 by Coinbase CEO
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has expressed optimism about Bitcoin's future price. Speaking on CNBC's 'Squawk Box Asia', Armstrong said he believes that even if Bitcoin is trading below $80,000, its long-term bullish outlook remains valid.
Armstrong pointed to technical factors and regulatory progress as potential drivers of a rise in Bitcoin prices over the next few years. He mentioned the Clarity bill and noted that regulatory clarity can have a significant impact on the broader crypto industry. Additionally, he said the next halving could contribute to an increase in Bitcoin's price.
The Coinbase CEO also suggested that this cycle's low may already be behind Bitcoin, given its typical four-year cycles and one-year downtrend phases. He cited a rebound after the July 1, 2026 low as evidence, noting that Bitcoin fell to $57,717 but later rose again.
