Bitcoin Price Targeted Near $145K by Power Curve Model
Bitcoin's price has been analyzed by macro researcher Matthew Mezinskis, who claims that it is currently at roughly half its power curve fair value. According to Mezinskis' model, this puts the current target near $145,000.
Mezinskis distinguishes Bitcoin from gold by noting that while gold follows a straight exponential line on log charts with an annual compounding rate of 5.7%, BTC obeys a power law where every 13% increase in asset life doubles its price.
This relationship has held for 13 years, projecting a price of roughly $1.1 million by 2033 without relying on halving cycles or adoption narratives.
The current technical confluence of Bitcoin's chart is testing the lower Bollinger Band support near $77,411.16, with the EMA50 at $78,740.1 acting as immediate resistance and the EMA200 at $74,093.71 providing deeper structural support.
