Bitcoin Price Targets Original Consolidation Zone as MMXM Model Completes
The Bitcoin price has been following a textbook Market Maker Sell Model (MMXM) on the weekly CME chart, which is roughly halfway through completion.
The MMXM model maps how large participants engineer liquidity across a full cycle and consists of several phases: original consolidation, reaccumulation, distribution, and redistribution.
According to the model, Bitcoin should make a low in Q4, targeting the original consolidation zone between 30-50K. The current bounce is expected to be relief inside the larger sellside delivery, not a reversal.
The technical setup is supported by macroeconomic factors, including high inflation, sticky CPI, and institutional deleveraging. However, the model invalidates on a clean weekly close above 85K, which would reclaim the redistribution zone and require a full rethink.
