Bitcoin Price Tests $80K Resistance as Traders Watch for Breakout
The Bitcoin price hovered near $79,055 on September 1st as traders waited for a breakout above the $80,000 resistance zone.
This technical range was identified by trader That Martini Guy, who wrote that a break above $80,000 could reopen the $81,000-$82,000 range.
The current price is close to his upper resistance zone, and a sustained move above this level would keep $81,000-$82,000 in focus.
The total Bitcoin futures open interest was near $54.31 billion, with about $25.37 billion in 24-hour futures volume, according to CoinGlass.
