Bitcoin Price to Hit $150k by 2027, Former Credit Suisse Executive Predicts
CK Zheng, former global valuation risk manager at Credit Suisse, has made some remarkable predictions about Bitcoin. According to him, the worst period for Bitcoin may be over and he believes that the price could reach $150,000 by the end of 2027.
Zheng's optimism is based on several factors, including reduced regulatory uncertainty, increased institutional adoption, and the potential adoption of the CLARITY Act in the US. He also thinks that growing US government debt will increase demand for Bitcoin and gold as hedges against a decline in the dollar's purchasing power.
Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor has announced that his company has resumed buying Bitcoin, with an additional 4,603 BTC purchased for approximately $370 million. The company now holds 845,050 BTC, worth around $66.4 billion at current prices.
