Bitcoin Price Volatility Warning: Experts Warn of Imminent Expansion
The Bitcoin price has been volatile in recent days, and experts warn of an imminent expansion in volatility. According to CryptoQuant, Bitcoin Exchange Reserves have climbed to 685,000 BTC, a sign that more supply is ready to be sold into the market.
This could indicate a warning sign for swing traders and investors as it may lead to a price drop.
Joao Wedson, CEO of Alphractal, a crypto intelligence platform, warned on X that the Bitcoin Network Stress Index has reached extremely low levels. This metric combines hash rate volatility, fee behavior, and active supply fluctuations to map network stress, and historically, when it falls to extreme lows, it tends to mark important market transition moments.
However, Wedson notes that this expansion in volatility can come in either direction, making the next move uncertain. On the other hand, AMBCrypto reported that Bitcoin's Supply in Profit and Loss appeared to signal a bull market was starting, with profit realization dominant now and financial stress built up over the summer easing enormously after the recent BTC rally.
The accumulation of Bitcoin by larger wallets during this rally is also seen as a sign of confidence in a bullish regime shift. If the $82k supply zone is decisively breached, it could lead to another upward impulse move.
