Bitcoin Prices Continue Downward Trend Amid Stronger Dollar and ETF Outflows

Bitcoin's price hovered near $65,574 on Monday, down nearly 45% from its record high of $126,198.07 reached just nine months ago in October 2025.

The cryptocurrency traded modestly up, gaining $233.26 or 0.36%, according to market data.

Despite the day's gains, analysts point to a combination of factors contributing to its sustained weakness this year, including outflows from Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, reduced market liquidity, and a stronger U.S. dollar.

Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe noted that he would prefer to see a genuine reversal with strong liquidity before considering the trend reversed.
