Bitcoin Prices Steady Near $77K Amid Stablecoin Venture and Record-Breaking ETF Inflows
Bitcoin's price held steady near $77,373 on September 2nd after experiencing an intraday dip to $76,393. This represents a decline of 1.1% over the past 24 hours and a 2.0% drop for the week. Ethereum also fell by 2.1% to $2,410, while XRP slipped 1.7% to $1.34.
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $2.70 trillion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $83.70 billion. Despite short-term price fluctuations, institutional adoption continues to gain momentum with the announcement of a joint stablecoin venture by 21 major banks, including Citi and Goldman Sachs.
The Bitcoin ETF inflows for August reached $3.5 billion, indicating a significant influx of institutional investment in the cryptocurrency market.
