Bitcoin Rallies Above $75,000 as Analysts Caution Against Overbought Market
Bitcoin (BTC) surpassed $75,000 intraday for the first time in over three months, achieving a gain of more than 8.9% over 24 hours.
The rally was fueled by Treasury support for long-dated bond liquidity and short liquidations, but some analysts questioned its sustainability.
Shawn Young, chief analyst at MEXC Research, said the market attached too much significance to the Treasury's intervention, calling it a 'pressure valve' that only forced short positions to unwind quickly.
Dominic John from Zeus Research echoed this sentiment, stating that fresh capital entering the market would be necessary for the rally to sustain itself through genuine spot demand and macro fundamentals.
