The cryptocurrency market is experiencing a surge in momentum, with Bitcoin (BTC) holding above $77,000 on Monday. This marks a 23% gain from last week's price, backed by renewed institutional demand and $1.92 billion in inflows into BTC-focused Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), the largest so far this year.

The Fear and Greed Index at 78 on Monday indicates improving risk appetite among crypto investors. Meanwhile, Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) and Aave (AAVE) have emerged as top performers over the last 24 hours.

From a technical perspective, Bitcoin's price is holding well above both the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $66,769 and the 200-day EMA at $72,636. The 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the downswing from $82,850 to $57,800, at $77,489, serves as immediate resistance.

Bitcoin's rally is also being driven by strong institutional demand, with $1.92 billion in inflows into BTC-focused ETFs last week, marking the largest weekly flow so far this year.
