Bitcoin Range-Bound Through Year-End: Bitget CEO
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen has forecast that Bitcoin will likely remain range-bound through year-end, staying within $10,000 to $20,000 of its current price. Speaking on Cointelegraph's Trade Secrets podcast, Chen emphasized the deepening ties between Bitcoin and mainstream finance as a key factor in her outlook.
According to Chen, interest rates and liquidity conditions now heavily influence Bitcoin's price, making it challenging to predict whether it will reach or surpass the $70,000 mark. She framed her forecast as cautious rather than bold, citing the increased sensitivity of institutional holders, exchange-traded products, and corporate treasuries.
Chen also expressed skepticism about Washington actively buying Bitcoin within two years, arguing that such a move would be a significant policy shift. She noted that any potential government purchases would likely involve seized reserves rather than open-market acquisitions.
