Bitcoin Ransom Demand Tied to Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping

The kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie, mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, has taken a disturbing turn as new details emerge about a ransom note demanding millions in Bitcoin. The note, which warned the family not to 'play games,' specifically mentioned Nancy's Arizona home and suggested that the kidnappers had been inside.

Nancy, 84, disappeared in February after investigators said she was kidnapped from her Pima County home. Footage from a doorbell camera showed a masked man with a gun tampering with the camera near the time of her disappearance.

The Guthrie family and FBI are offering rewards totaling $1.1 million for information leading to Nancy's return.
